MUTOTI CHILDREN MINISTRY LIMITED
Who we are.
Mutoti children ministry limited is an advocacy and action centered organization championing the rights of children in Uganda. The organization works to see children live peacefully and benefit from quality education, enjoy gender violence-free generation, economic security, avoid child marriages and teenage pregnancies and prosper with access to clean water, good health care and nutrition. We believe that changing long-held societal practices and traditions requires a unique approach; and working closely with Parliamentarians to end child marriage is one of them. Mutoti children ministry limited also motivates children to work such that they can manage poverty.
About Our Ministry
Mutoti children ministry limited is one of the children's charity in Uganda, where we've worked since 2018- starting sponsorship in 2021. We reach the most vulnerable girls and boys and their families, addressing their health and nutrition needs, their food security and familie‘s livelihood. We increase access to education and project children from harm. We also respond to emergencies. We're also working in multiple remote areas, where many children have walked for days with out food, water or rest and are in desperate need care. Our emergency health unit has helped to rapidly sacle up health services to meet children needs. We provide primary health care, reproductive health care, family planning and childhood vaccinations. We also run child-friendly spaces and are accelerating learning programs and classroom construction so children can catch up on their eductions. A healthy in life. We're constructing wells and water tanks to ensure communities have access to safe drinking water, reducing the risk of water- related diseases and improving sanitation, health and hygiene.

Our Causes

There, the land is too dry to produce an adequate amount of food: consequently, food shortage are a regular problem. In 2010, around 40 %of the children under the age of 5 years suffered from dietary short coming.
Malnutrition among children has a serious impact on their health. Some die from it, while there exhibit differences that can lead to any number of diseases, lack of nourishment can have harmful effects that are sometimes felt for the entire duration of one's life$10 can feed one children for are day and $70 a week, A little you donate can help, click the button below

Many young Ugandan children are forced to live on the streets. They find themselves forced to migrate either because their parents have died, or owing to the drought and misery of the region in which they live. At least 12,000 children live on the streets in Uganda. Aparticularly in the capital of Kampala. The conditions their face are very bleak and they must constantly to survive. Survival is very difficult. Begging is often their only option, even if this practice is very dangerous and frequently leads to their being violently beaten when they ask passersby money Children who live on the streets are equally at the mercy of slave traffickers who, despite promising them a better life, quickly take a advantage of them such children practices and despicable acts. Fighting Poverty
In Uganda, morethan a third of all inhabitants live below the poverty line. Children are the primary victims of this deplorable economic situation. Their families can't ensure their health or their well being; particularly in remote areas of Uganda. Some children are sent to live in towns and cities as it is thought that they will be better off living in urban areas. Instead, they often and up living on the streets. Some children rights are neglected as a result account of poverty. Access to education, for example, is a privilege from which only the most fortunate children benefits

Provide good health
In Uganda, the mortality rate of children under the age 5 year is gravely high and life expectancy at birth particularly is low. Poverty, lack of infrastructure and ill-suited personnel are barriers to the health of children in Uganda. Viral maladies are very virulent and are rapidly transmitted on account of the problems that gravely affect the health of children, lack of hygiene and unhealthy living conditions.Cholera for example is one of the problems that gravely affect the health of children in Uganda. The use of dirty water in many house holds leads to many children becoming infected by this particular disease which can turn out to be fatal. Educate the children
Nearly one of every five children in Uganda is uneducated. The problem is particularly serious among young girls living in rural areas. Many school children can not finish their schooling as they must abandon this in order to help pay family expenses. While supplementary school costs dissuade many parents from sending their children to school to being with.
Child soldiers Children have played a major role in the conflicts that regularly erupt in Uganda. They were in effect, recruited by armed groups who kidnapped them at an early age and they lived under the most atrocious conditions. Young girl were raped and then kidnapped from their homes. Having fallen into the hands of these armed factions, they were forced to prostitute themselves and were constantly mistreated by their captors. To control that, these children need to be educated and prepare for their future opportunities and their future is in your hands. Click the button below.
